Hello,

It\'s me, Sherry #2, class of 1985, North Pole, asking anyone to contact me that has photos or stories to share
of Mark Brody. I would like to make a memory book for his family and would like to fill it with the crazy memories Mark has left us with.

Please email me at aksnd1992@hotmail.com. Please put his name in the subject line so I don\'t spam your email.

Thanks so much!

Hello, Family and Friends!

Today I come to you with some not so happy news. David is getting tired of living his life as it is. He can do nothing for himself now, and it wears on him. He sits in his recliner day in and day out and watches the world go by without him. This is very hard for David being as he was so active before ALS. He can do nothing with his family, and he gets angry about it. Tension in the house has been so thick, you could cut it with a knife.

As of Monday, June 1, 2009, he may be breathing his last breath. He plans on being taken off of the ventilator and let God take over. It is in God\'s hands now. I know that it has always been in God\'s hands, but with no breathing help, it truly is in God\'s hands.

I ask that you and everyone, please pray for David. Maybe he will get that miracle. It takes prayer and faith.

Thank you all for your support of David and all of your kindness. David may not be here to present his $4.00 donations from so many of you to the ALS Association. He also may not be here for the Walk to Defete ALS on June 27, 2009, in St. Louis. It would really be wonderful if some of you could come for the walk to remember David.

That is all for this time. God bless you all!

Barbara Abell

Dear Family and Friends,

As most of you know, I was diagnosed with ALS in 2004. I have a simple wish. This July 4, 2009 is the 70th anniversary of Lou Gehrig\'s speech, in which he announced his diagnosis of ALS. \"I consider myself the luckiest man on the face of the earth.\" My wish is for everyone to donate $4.00, by check, to the ALS Association of Saint Louis, MO. The $4.00 represents the number he wore while playing baseball for the New York Yankees. If you could, please pass this along to your family and friends, I would be SO grateful. You can send your donation to 1262 Quail Ridge Ct. Shiloh, IL 62221. I will present the donation to the ALS Association on July 4, 2009. In case you didn\'t know, Major League Baseball is recognizing his speech during this 70th anniversary on July 4, 2009. Thank you in advance for your donation.

May God Bless You and Your Family,
Dave Abell and Family
